Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies on our website.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Codexa Technologiez uses cookies and similar technologies (like your browser's local storage) when you visit our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites work, remember your preferences, and keep you signed in. “Local storage” is a similar technology used to store small pieces of information in your browser.
2. How we use them
We keep this simple. We currently use only essential technologies:
- Authentication — when you log into the student portal (or admin), a secure cookie keeps you signed in. Without it, you couldn't stay logged in.
- Theme preference — we remember whether you chose light or dark mode (stored in your browser).
- Intro & consent — we remember that you've seen the intro animation and accepted this cookie notice, so we don't repeat them.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
3. Cookies at a glance
- payload-token — keeps you signed in to the portal/admin (essential).
- codexa-theme — your light/dark preference (browser storage).
- codexa-intro, codexa-cookie-consent — remember the intro and this notice (browser storage).
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear your browser storage at any time. Note that disabling essential cookies will stop you from logging into the student portal.
5. Changes & contact
We may update this policy as our site evolves. Questions? Email hello@codexatechnologiez.com.
Note: This policy is a general template. If you add analytics or advertising tools later, have it reviewed to ensure it meets the consent laws that apply to you.
