This Privacy Policy explains how Codexa Technologiez (“Codexa”, “we”, “us”) handles your personal data when you visit www.codexatechnologiez.com, contact us, apply for a role, enrol in a course, or use our student portal. We only collect what we need to provide our services:

• Contact & enquiries — name, email, company, budget, and message when you use the contact form.
• Newsletter — your email address when you subscribe.
• Job applications — name, email, links, message, and any résumé/file you upload.
• Course enrolment — name, email, phone, and the course you register for.
• Student accounts (LMS) — name, email, password (stored securely/hashed), profile links, enrolled courses, and the coursework you submit (assignments, quiz answers, files).
• Technical data — essential cookies and basic server logs needed to run the site and keep you signed in (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
• To deliver our courses — manage enrolment, share class links, assignments, quizzes, grades, and certificates.
• To send you service emails (e.g. confirmations, account invites, notifications). We only send marketing emails if you subscribe, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website.

3. Legal basis

We process your data to perform a contract or service you've asked for, with your consent (e.g. the newsletter and non-essential cookies), and for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business — always balanced against your rights.

4. Service providers

We share data only with trusted providers that help us run the platform:

• Supabase — database & file storage (your data and uploads).
• Render — website hosting.
• Resend — sending transactional emails.
• Google Meet — live classes are held here; using it is subject to Google's own policies.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Data retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law — for example, student records for the duration of your course and a reasonable period after. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your rights

You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@codexatechnologiez.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls so students only see their own information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

8. Children

Our services are intended for users aged 16 and over. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
