Habit-building app with a daily loop people return to
A cross-platform self-development app built around a short daily loop: actions, a journal prompt, a streak to protect and a community feed of wins.
The challenge
Habit apps fail in the gap between intention and repetition. The problem was retention rather than features: someone has to want to open the app again tomorrow.
Our approach
Reminders are scheduled server-side in Cloud Functions against each user's own timezone, so a nudge lands in their morning and streak warnings fire against their day, not the server's. A Firestore-backed feed gives each win a social witness, subscriptions run on in-app purchases, and over-the-air updates ship JavaScript fixes the day they land instead of waiting on store review.
The results
Live on the App Store and Google Play, and rated 4.9 on the App Store at the time of writing.
