A two-sided marketplace where locum GPs, nurses and pharmacists find NHS and private shifts, with every clinician checked directly against the UK registers.
The challenge
UK healthcare staffing turns on whether a clinician is actually registered and actually permitted to work, and a document uploaded by the candidate is the weakest possible evidence of either. The app was the easy part. Everything it had to talk to was not.
Our approach
Eligibility is checked against source systems: the GMC, GPhC and NMC registers and the Home Office right-to-work service. Around that sits the compliance half — a digital DBS audit trail, certification expiry alerts and expiring credential-share links — plus GPS-locked timesheets, Gemini-ranked matching between shifts and candidates, and Stripe Connect paying each professional directly.
The results
One React Native codebase serves both sides of the market and is live on the App Store and Google Play, with invoices and NHS pension forms generated from approved timesheets.
